And it’s exactly what we expected – bad babes kicking ass. Swifties alter ego Catastrophe battles it out with Selena Gomez’s character Arsyn. 

Appearances are made by literally every top female actress, model, dancer, muse, musician & more. Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Lena Dunham, Karlie Kloss, Hailee Steinfeld, Mariska Hargitay, Ellen Pompeo, Martha Hunt, Ellie Goulding, Serayah, Jessica Alba, Hayley Williams, Zendaya, Lily Aldridge, & Cindy Crawford all take their doppelgangers to the next level.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid told PEOPLE Mag, “I’m obsessed with Beyoncé. It’s a play on Jay Z and using the word ‘slay’ … because slay. Hashtag-slay!”

Interesting pick with Gomez playing the villain in a black bob… rumor has it Taylor wrote this song about her rival artist … Katy Perry (over their issue with back up dancers). The killer video was created by Joseph Kahn who also directed her smash hit clip for Blank Space. Those are just 2 others off her album 1989 which has featured numerous hits from Shake it Off, Welcome to New York, Style, Out of the Woods & more.

The music vid debuted a remix with Kendrick Lamar – some fans were bugged that it wasn’t the original song but we gotta say, we were feeling it. Other people mentioned with such a full cast of characters it would’ve been cool if it were a short film instead – which we kind of agree. But, all in all we’re all about ‘Bad Blood’.

Swifts’ latest album 1989 has remained on top of the charts – plus we can’t wait for her upcoming music video for ‘BAD BLOOD’ featuring an array of celebs & models from Lily Aldridge, Gigi Hadid, Lena Dunham, Hailee Steinfeld, Ellie Goulding & more – it’s set to premier at the upcoming Billboard Awards!

We’re huge fans of Taylor’s chic style & she has no regrets regarding her choices, she says, “I can make additions to it. I can redecorate. But I built this. And so I’m not going to sit there and say, ‘Oh, I wish I hadn’t had corkscrew-curly hair and worn cowboy boots and sundresses to awards shows when I was 17; I wish I hadn’t gone through that fairy-tale phase where I just wanted to wear princess dresses to awards shows every single time.’ Because I made those choices. I did that. It was part of me growing up. It wasn’t some committee going, ‘You know what Taylor needs to be this year?’

There were really insensitive jokes being made at awards shows by hosts; there were snarky headlines in the press—’Taylor Goes Through a Breakup: Well, That Was Swift!’—focusing on all the wrong things.”

Swifties particularly love her music because she writes about well.. boys & heartbreak.. although interestingly enough when she began writing the songs were based on fictional characters — we love 1989 because it’s so much more personal. Taylor said, “I’d never been in a relationship when I wrote my first couple of albums, so these were all projections of what I thought they might be like. They were based on movies and books and songs and literature that tell us that a relationship is the most magical thing that can ever happen to you. And then once I fell in love, or thought I was in love, and then experienced disappointment or it just not working out a few times, I realized there’s this idea of happily ever after which in real life doesn’t happen.”

Kode with Karlie: Supermodel Launches Coding Scholarship for Young Girls. (Definition of kick-a**)

Madonna. The Queen of Pop (literally) once graced the cover of Cosmopolitan in 1990 where they said the ‘future is hers’ and dubbed her as the Magnificent Madonna. 25 years laters she’s still considered the ‘High Priestess of Pop’ & celebrates 50 years of some serious power & provocation with Cosmo.

Madge has always been one step ahead of the industry, talk about shaking things up. Whether you like her, or her music, she’s truly made a major impact both in the music & fashion world. Renowned photographer Ellen von Unwerth shot the icon for Cosmo’s latest issue.

M talks sexuality & ageism: “Don’t be fooled, not much has changed — certainly not for women. We still live in a very sexist society that wants to limit people. Since I started, I’ve had people giving me a hard time because they didn’t think you could be sexual or have sexuality or sensuality in your work and be intelligent at the same time. For me, the fight has never ended.”

On longevity in her career: “Popularity comes and goes. You need to know who you are, what you stand for, and why you’re here.”

The singer recently collaborated with Kanye west for her new album Rebel Heart, she says, “It’s a little bit of a bullfight, but we take turns. He knows that he’s walking into a room with a person with a strong point of view, and I do too. I listen to what he has to say, take it in, and he listens to what I say and takes it in. We didn’t agree on everything, but he has good ideas.”

On the online haters: “You can hide behind your computer or your phone and say whatever you want — you’re not known. Could you say it to my face? Would you say it to my face? I doubt it.”

BFFs Karlie Kloss & Taylor Swift Cover VOGUE.

OKAY the moment happened we all knew was bound to happen : Musician & muse Taylor Swift plus her Supermodel BFF Karlie Kloss cover VOGUE – TOGETHER. As Lena Dunham calls them ‘Amazon Twins’ we knew we’d see these besties grace a cover soon. The beautiful babes are a lot more bad-a** than we think. Taylor Swift is considered one of the most iconic voices of this generation & Karlie Kloss is beyond runway royalty, not to mention she’s just been accepted to NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study (Christy Turlington wrote her letter of recommendation…).

Now, this dynamic duo graces the pages of VOGUE’s March 2015 issue photographed by Mikael Jansson — the styling & looks are just perfection: bohemian chic at its finest.

What make Karlie & Taylor the ultimate girls-girls? “We’re both normal people,” says Kloss.“We’re real girls,” says Swift.

They met via supermodel Angel Lily Aldridge back at the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Taylor has a wall of polaroids at her Tribeca apartment (inclduing a designated guest room just for Kloss) on the pic of the 2 together from their initial intro it says, “BEST FRIENDS FOREVER VS2013”

Taylor  has pulled herself away from the drama of relationships & boyfriends and instead has created an army of some serious bad-a** chicks #girlpower. Swift says, “to the way people were overreacting to my life. I was really irritated by the whole serial-dater play that people tried to make about me.”

“I just decided I wasn’t willing to provide them that kind of entertainment anymore. I wasn’t going to go out on dates and have them be allowed to take pictures and say whatever they wanted about our body language. I wasn’t going to sit next to somebody and flirt with them for five minutes, because I know the next day he’ll be rumored to be my boyfriend. I just kind of took the narrative back. It’s unfortunate I had to do that. And it’s unfortunate that now I have this feeling like if I were to open myself up to love, that would be a career weakness.”

Karlie Kloss is one of the top models right now,  “For me, runway is an opportunity to perform.”

She says of her closeness with Swift, “The other night I came over and we were both going someplace from here, and we were both wearing black crop tops and high-waisted skirts. It’s kind of getting weird.”

Adding, “People had been telling us for years we needed to meet. I remember makeup artists and hair people going, ‘Doesn’t she remind you of Karlie? God, she and Karlie would be best friends. They’re the same. Karlie’s such a good girl. She brings us cookies every time we do a shoot.’ ”

Katy Perry Gets Ready to ‘ROAR’ at the Super Bowl!

Super Bowl highlights for a bonafide fashionista: The commercials & the half time show (oh and if you’re into football well, then the game too…) Katy Perry is set to perform at the iconic half-time show THIS Super Bowl — let the countdown begin!

Before Katy hits the stage — for what we’re sure will be an epic performance — we’re catching up with her latest interview for Billboard Magazine. She looks sultry & fab in the shots photographed by Miller Mobley.

As Billboard put it, “the Super Bowl gig is a major win in the Perry column. And not the only one: In 2014, she sold out more than 80 arenas, grossing more than $146 million, according to Billboard Boxscore, making Prismatic the biggest tour of the year by a female artist. Likewise, “Dark Horse” was 2014’s No. 1 song on the Mainstream Top 40 chart, and she still has the most Twitter followers — more than 64 million — of anyone.”

A spokesperson for the NFL said,  “Watching the rehearsals solidified our feeling that she’s the right choice. And we see the connection she has with her audience and her reach on social media.”

We have no DOUBT Katy is going to SLAY it today — but what everyone’s talking about is the major feud between Katy Perry & Taylor Swift. A quick recap: in 2014 Swift revealed in Rolling Stones interview that a fellow female musician is her ‘straight up enemy’ because she attempted to ‘sabotage her entire tour’ … ahem Ms. Perry… the following day the Teenage Dream singer took to twitter with a bold tweet (referencing none other than ‘Mean Girls’ ): “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing.”

Now, Perry addressed the Taylor Swift sitch to Billboard Mag, ” If somebody is trying to defame my character, you’re going to hear about it.” Y’all better watch out — we’re talking to the ‘Swifties’ and ‘KatyKats’ out there — something BIG is about to go down in the POP world!

Well — back to the Super Bowl – Katy Perry has been prepping for the upcoming show by studying Beyonce’s & Madonna’s previous performances.

She says, “Those performances are clean and streamlined. They’re about the catalog, the songs. I like Madonna for the graphic effects she brought.” And Beyoncé? “She brought so much strength, so much sassiness and just the right amount of sex. She’s an icon. Elvis, The Beatles, Michael Jackson — she’s in that category. I’m not. She’s like five notches above me, and those levels are compounded in difficulty.” She’s even reached out to Bruno Mars for some tips & tricks.

The Dark Horse singer will be joined by Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliot & possibly ANOTHER surprise guest!

We love her because she’s talented & especially her authenticity, her thoughts on the big day? “Everyone has been asking me if I’m going to be nervous before the halftime show. I’m like, I’m…human. This is the biggest event of my career. I want the show to be quintessential Katy. It’s like the exclamation point on the whole last cycle. This is the cherry on top to everything I’ve already done.”

Taylor Swift is one ‘Lucky’ Lady.

“Who Rule The World? GIRLs.” Well maybe Beyonce should consider switching up her lyrics to ‘Taylor Swift’ instead of GIRLS! ha.

We love T.Swift’s city-chic style, let’s just say her recent move to NYC has definitely up-ed her fashion game. Of course, one interesting tidbit (that honestly we never noticed) is that she fails to show off her belly button .. which is pretty impressive seeing as her signature look is wearing crop tops. LUCKY magazine decided to ask Swift, ‘WHY?’

Her answer, basically she doesn’t want to make a fashion commitment to the ‘midriff thing’:

“I don’t like showing my belly button. When you start showing your belly button then you’re really committing to the midriff thing. I only partially commit to the midriff thing—you’re only seeing lower rib cage. I don’t want people to know if I have one or not.” She laughs. “I want that to be a mystery. As far as anyone knows based on my public appearances, they haven’t seen evidence of a belly button. It could be pierced. They have no idea. If I’m going to get some sort of massive tattoo, it’s going to be right next to my belly button because no one’s ever going to see that.”

“So nice, we booked her twice! Pumped to party like it’s #1989 w/ @taylorswift13! #VSFashionShow,” Victoria’s Secret tweeted. Yup, you read that right. Homegirl had such a kick-a** performance last year at the VS Fashion Show they booked her again. Swifty will be performing with fellow musicians Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, & Hozier in London the first week of December – but we all KNOW T.Swift is gonna kill it.

Oh, Taylor was named New York City’s new Global Welcome Ambassador & just a few days after that, she announced the dates of her 1989 World Tour.

She also booked a live performance at the upcoming American Music Awards.

 

Lastly, this blonde beauty has officially made Billboard History: Swift becomes the first woman in the Hot 100’s 56-year history to succeed herself at the top spot. CONGRATS Bae!

Taylor Swift Channels ‘Frozen’ For Cosmopolitan UK.

Taylor Swift – literally everybody’s darling, continues to make waves in the music & fashion industry. The Out Of The Woods singer is about to hit platinum with her latest album 1989 and now she opens up about feminism, Lena Dunham, and being happily single for Cosmopolitan UK’s December issue. Swift looks like a winter-princess for the cover and editorial.

Swift told the publication that she and her friends often talk about gender inequality,

“My girlfriends and I talk a lot about feminism and the inequality between the way men and women are talked about. The kind of things we say are: ‘Why is it mischievous, fun and sexy if a guy has a string of lovers that he’s cast aside; loved and left?’

“Yet, if a woman dates three or four people in an eight-year period, she is a serial dater and it gives some 12-year-old the idea to call her a “slut” on the internet? It’s not the same for boys. It just isn’t, and that’s a fact.”

She also chats about GIRLS creator/best-selling author of Not That Kind of Girl, Lena Dunham, “Her perspective has truly shaped me in the past couple of years. She is just so enthusiastic about life, about other women. She is like a hug in the form of a person.”

Taylor is known for gaining lyrical inspiration on past relationships but she makes it clear she doesn’t need a man, nor does she want a boyfriend now, as she’s happy & single! Lovin’ it girl,

“People will say, ‘let me set you up with someone,’ and I’m just sitting there saying, ‘That’s not what I’m doing. I’m not lonely. I’m not looking.’ They just don’t get it.

“I’ve learnt that just because someone is cute and wants to date you, that’s not a reason to sacrifice your independence and allow everyone to say what they want about you. I’m not doing that any more.”

She added, “It’d take someone really special for me to undergo the circumstances I have to go through to experience a date. I don’t know how I would ever have another person in my world trying to have a relationship with me, or a family. The best answer I can come up with now is, ‘go at it alone.’

Taylor Swift ‘Shakes it Off’ for Harper’s Bazaar Germany.

Taylor Swift – who’s reigning the billboards right now – looks sophisticated & cool, with minimal makeup, for Harper’s Bazaar Germany.

The Deutsch publication even called Taylor Swift: Queen BEE (ummm, Beyonce know about this??) Swift must be taking notes from her supermodel BFF, Karlie Kloss, on posing in front of the camera,  because she’s definitely got her model-game on point!

Taylor released her new song & music video for  Shake it Off from her album 1989 – we can’t stop gettin’ our groove on to the hit singe at the Z Management studios in NYC! Now, she just released a 2nd track Out of the Woods which is rumored to be about her ex-beau, Harry Styles, from boy band One Direction.

The top musician/model/actress shared on Good Morning America, “This song is about the fragility and kind of breakable nature of some relationships. This was a relationship where I was kind of, living day to day, wondering where it was going, if it was going to go anywhere, if it was going to end the next day. It was a relationship where you, kind of, never feel like you’re standing on solid ground.”

Adding, ‘And that kind of a feeling brings on excitement but also extreme anxiety and kind of a frantic feeling of wondering. Endless questions.”

“And this song sounds exactly like that frantic feeling of anxiety and questioning. But it stresses that even if a relationship is breakable and fragile and full of anxiety, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t worthwhile, exciting, beautiful, and all the things we look for.”

She said on her YouTube channel, “I wanted to make sure that these songs sounded exactly the way the emotions felt.” The singer calls her change in music-style a “sonic evolution”.

You definietly get those emotions when listening to that song, girl! Not to mention, Lena Dunham revealed the track was actually recorded in HER living room.
