And it’s exactly what we expected – bad babes kicking ass. Swifties alter ego Catastrophe battles it out with Selena Gomez’s character Arsyn. 

Appearances are made by literally every top female actress, model, dancer, muse, musician & more. Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Lena Dunham, Karlie Kloss, Hailee Steinfeld, Mariska Hargitay, Ellen Pompeo, Martha Hunt, Ellie Goulding, Serayah, Jessica Alba, Hayley Williams, Zendaya, Lily Aldridge, & Cindy Crawford all take their doppelgangers to the next level.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid told PEOPLE Mag, “I’m obsessed with Beyoncé. It’s a play on Jay Z and using the word ‘slay’ … because slay. Hashtag-slay!”

Interesting pick with Gomez playing the villain in a black bob… rumor has it Taylor wrote this song about her rival artist … Katy Perry (over their issue with back up dancers). The killer video was created by Joseph Kahn who also directed her smash hit clip for Blank Space. The music vid debuted a remix with Kendrick Lamar – some fans were bugged that it wasn’t the original song but we gotta say, we were feeling it. Other people mentioned with such a full cast of characters it would’ve been cool if it were a short film instead – which we kind of agree. But, all in all we’re all about ‘Bad Blood’.

Lily Aldridge Looks Fab at Thakoon’s 10th anniversary celebration in NYC.

There’s a reason it’s called The City that Never Sleeps [NYC]- because there are constantly events going on, especially fashionable ones. This week Victoria’s Secret model Lily Aldridge attended the Thakoon 10th anniversary celebration.

A number of celebs, fashionistas, models & more ventured out to toast designer Thakoon Panichgul as he celebrated his tenth anniversary at Barney’s New York.

Lily Aldridge looked FAB & flawless (what’s new) wearing Thakoon with jewels by Jennifer Fisher and Aurelie Bidermann. The babely model said,  “I love the revival and reissued pieces. Now I know where I want to wear them, although it’s sold out!”. Seriously – that robe is EVERYTHING, and we’re not the only ones who think so.

Kimberly Chandler said of Aldridge’s look, “She’s wearing my favorite look from the collection.” Adding, “You can layer the hell out of it!” True dat.

Thakoon said during the celebration, “Everything I do is like college. I’m continuing to learn.”

Vogue asked what his most memorable moment to date has been, he said,  “I keep saying this, but the biggest moment for me, was when my first collection was shot by Steven Meiseland Grace Coddington in Vogue.” Ummm ya, we couldn’t agree more!

 

 

A Book of Angels.

“These women are even more beautiful in real life than in the photographs. I would say my photos under-deliver on the beauty of these women.” -Photographer Russell James on Angels – a volume of nude photographs which include snaps of supermodels/stars; Adriana Lima, Rihanna, Alessandra Ambrsosio, Lily Aldridge and more.

Renowned photographer Russell James has shot plenty of stars and beautiful people over his career- but we’re most excited about Angels featuring some of the most beautiful women in the industry – although they are nude – it’s done elegantly.

Russell says the biggest thing people should take away from Angels, “I hope people see images that are sensual, provocative, empowering to women and that show my love for light, shape and form. That is s short sentence and I’ll never achieve it with everybody, however that is the high bar I’d love to hit!

Around 35 women posed nude, which include, Kendall Jenner, Heidi Klum, Martha Hunt, Gisele Bundchen & more … he says, “I was fortunate enough to have gained the trust of a lot of people.” Adding, “I’ve had an enormous amount of requests to do something that was wholly focused on the nude.”

“The biggest reward for me is when the subject of the photographs says she is happy with the images. I don’t want anyone to think that they just revealed themselves to the camera for no particular reason. Instead, they should understand that for a moment in time, I captured something beautiful.”

He told Fashion Gone Rogue exclusively that his goal with shoot was to make everyone feel completely comfortable, “My overall goal is to create an image that the subject herself will love and not feel vulgarized or exploited–I want the woman in the image to be proud of the image and to pull it out ten years from now and say ‘I am so glad I have this image’.”
