BadGal RiRi is Dior’s New Muse.

Rihanna is the ultimate icon in the fashion | modeling | music world. Riri is the latest muse for Dior’s ‘Secret Garden Campaign’. What makes this ad particularly epic? Ri is the first woman of color to be the face of Dior in the 69 years since the House of Dior launched.

The “American Oxygen” singer was photographed at the Palace Of Versailles in France by Steven Klein & styled by Mel Ottenberg. She joins brand ambassadors which include Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Marion Cotillard & Jennifer Lawrence.

Screen Shot 2015-05-14 at 10.09.41 AM

Dior’s chief executive officer, Sidney Toledano, told WWD, “Jennifer is also edgy, I think. They understand. They’re smart. In this short movie, [Rihanna] knew how to work with Versailles. She has this kind of elegance — we saw it from the very first moment — and then she can surprise. She can be unexpected and we like it. It’s part of this personality.”

Adding, what we already knew… “[She is] a goddess but accessible. The way she moves is part of the young generation.”

OMGODDESS is right. This is the 4th installment of the “Secret Garden” campaign series, it launched in 2012 and was previously shot by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin.

All we can say is Bitch Better Have My Money … or in this case, Dior better have Rihanna’s $$$.

Musician | Model | Muse : Taylor Swift for ELLE.

Triple threat Taylor Swift covers the latest issue of ELLE Magazine wearing a killer Dior jumpsuit | Photographed by Michael Thompson. The stunning musical model opens up to top teenage blogger, Tavi Gevinson, about her lyrics, boys & more.

Swifts’ latest album 1989 has remained on top of the charts – plus we can’t wait for her upcoming music video for ‘BAD BLOOD’ featuring an array of celebs & models from Lily Aldridge, Gigi Hadid, Lena Dunham, Hailee Steinfeld, Ellie Goulding & more – it’s set to premier at the upcoming Billboard Awards!

Screen Shot 2015-05-10 at 9.56.32 PM

We’re huge fans of Taylor’s chic style & she has no regrets regarding her choices, she says, “I can make additions to it. I can redecorate. But I built this. And so I’m not going to sit there and say, ‘Oh, I wish I hadn’t had corkscrew-curly hair and worn cowboy boots and sundresses to awards shows when I was 17; I wish I hadn’t gone through that fairy-tale phase where I just wanted to wear princess dresses to awards shows every single time.’ Because I made those choices. I did that. It was part of me growing up. It wasn’t some committee going, ‘You know what Taylor needs to be this year?’

Screen Shot 2015-05-10 at 9.55.51 PM

If you haven’t already heard CLEAN yet, you need to. Her songwriting skills are on point with this beat. Taylor says about the lyrics, “‘Clean’ I wrote as I was walking out of Liberty in London. Someone I used to date—it hit me that I’d been in the same city as him for two weeks and I hadn’t thought about it. When it did hit me, it was like, Oh, I hope he’s doing well. And nothing else. And you know how it is when you’re going through heartbreak. A heartbroken person is unlike any other person. Their time moves at a completely different pace than ours. It’s this mental, physical, emotional ache and feeling so conflicted. Nothing distracts you from it. Then time passes, and the more you live your life and create new habits, you get used to not having a text message every morning saying, ‘Hello, beautiful. Good morning.’ You get used to not calling someone at night to tell them how your day was.”

Adding, “You replace these old habits with new habits, like texting your friends in a group chat all day and planning fun dinner parties and going out on adventures with your girlfriends, and then all of a sudden one day you’re in London and you realize you’ve been in the same place as your ex for two weeks and you’re fine. And you hope he’s fine. The first thought that came to my mind was, I’m finally clean. I’d been in this media hailstorm of people having a very misconstrued perception of who I was. There were really insensitive jokes being made at awards shows by hosts; there were snarky headlines in the press—’Taylor Goes Through a Breakup: Well, That Was Swift!’—focusing on all the wrong things.”

Screen Shot 2015-05-10 at 9.53.18 PM

Swifties particularly love her music because she writes about well.. boys & heartbreak.. although interestingly enough when she began writing the songs were based on fictional characters — we love 1989 because it’s so much more personal. Taylor said, “I’d never been in a relationship when I wrote my first couple of albums, so these were all projections of what I thought they might be like. They were based on movies and books and songs and literature that tell us that a relationship is the most magical thing that can ever happen to you. And then once I fell in love, or thought I was in love, and then experienced disappointment or it just not working out a few times, I realized there’s this idea of happily ever after which in real life doesn’t happen.”

Charlize Theron is a Smoke-Show for W Magazine.

Actress / Muse / J’Adore Dior’s model Charlize Theron is a sultry star for W Magazine’s May ’15 issue. Photographed by Mert & Marcus | styled by Edward Enninful, the South African stunner looks kick-a** in Dior a leather jacket for the cover. From her role in ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ to the upcoming thriller in ‘Dark Places’ (same writer as ‘Gone Girl’, Gillian Flynn), Charlize is making some serious waves.

Screen Shot 2015-04-21 at 11.21.21 PM

She talks motherhood, leaving her ‘characters’ at work, & reflecting for W Mag. When Theron showed up at the Oscar 2013 Awards Ceremony in a couture gown and an almost shaved head of hair, she literally ruled red carpet.  Now, she opens up about chopping off her locks for Mad Max:  “At first, my character was going to be ghostlike and albino. And then I thought it would be stronger to shave my head. I called George [Miller] and told him my plan. He went silent, which I thought was a good sign. So I borrowed some clippers and buzzed it all off.”

Screen Shot 2015-04-21 at 11.22.45 PM

Charlize is the mother of adorable toddler Jackson, she talks about the difficulties of separating work from home life, in particular her dark roles, “I’ve never been a fan of bringing my characters home. Even when I just had my dogs at home, I didn’t feel like it was fair to them: Cocker spaniels don’t deserve Aileen Wuornos [the serial killer Theron played in Monster, for which she won an Academy Award] walking in the door. If anything, I’m more attracted to dark material since becoming a mother. I look at Jackson and I want to fight harder to stop AIDS and tell stories that shed a light on injustice. I feel like he deserves a better world.”

On motherhood: “I do know that choosing to be a mom in my late 30s has been really great for me. It’s given me perspective…I think, like many women, I was judgmental toward women as they aged. Women, in our society, are compartmentalized so that we start to feel like we’re cut flowers and after a while we will wilt. I realize now that’s not the case—we can celebrate every age. That’s my encouragement to 20-year-olds who are terrified of getting older: Don’t have a nervous breakdown and don’t hit the Chardonnay too hard. Getting older is not that bad. [Laughs] Actually, I’m a complete alcoholic, but, please, don’t worry.”

And of course, if she were to give advice to her 20 year old self… “I would say, ‘Calm down.’ I was always in a rush. I felt like time was going to run out. Now that I’m older, I know I’m not missing out on anything. Now, I go home, and that feels really good. When I hit 30, I realized I didn’t have to please everybody. I could actually enjoy life, which is not a bad thing at all.”

Oh and case you have already, you totally need to pick up Dark Places by Gillian Flynn. Just sayin’. Xx

Blake Lively Covers ALLURE | Photographed by Mario Testino.

Actress / Model / Muse / Fashionista: Blake Lively stuns for the May ’15 cover shoot of ALLURE Magazine. The blonde beauty looks chic in a clean &simple white Jil Sander button-up, shot by renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino.

Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 10.52.04 AM

Blake is Testino’s latest muse for his popular Towel Series. The L’Oreal model welcomed her first child with hubby Ryan Reynolds, launched a lifestyle site Preserve, and is starring in the upcoming box office hit The Age of Adaline. She talks Gossip Girl, being happy, filming & more.

TOWEL SERIES 72

TOWEL SERIES 72

We’ve always been obsessed with Serena Van Der Woodsen’s style from GG,  but in all actuality it was a pretty dark storyline (once you got past the exceptional clothing & parties of course), Lively says, “People loved it, but it always felt a little personally compromising — you want to be putting a better message out there. But it’s a weird thing when people feel like they know you really well, and they don’t. I would not be proud to be the person who gave someone the cocaine that made them overdose and then shot someone and slept with someone else’s boyfriend.”

Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 10.51.47 AM

Life after Gossip Girl: “I wanted to reset. It taps into so many of my own passions, but it also is a business that I can control. If I can be successful at this, I have security for my family and my babies. I’m in a profession, acting, where it’s really for-hire—I offer a service that people hire out. I love it, but it’s not something I can control.”

On ‘The Age of Adaline’: “People are obsessed with beauty and youth and with looking and feeling young forever. But look at a woman who is granted that: She’s trapped, because it’s tragic to be young forever.” A pause. “And also, having a child makes you realize that we pass on for a reason. You think, I have to go, because it makes room for you.”

Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 10.51.33 AM

On balancing work, family, life & more: “Most of the things I do are all-consuming, but somehow I find a way to do it all. But it’s dangerous to dilute that to a catchphrase. Having it all could be having a happy, healthy family, and you could be a mom who stays at home, and that is the most admirable thing you could do. Or it could be having a profession that you really believe in, and not having a family, and doing what fulfills you. If it’s not a part of a conversation with someone face-to-face, those bites are why women tear each other apart or why the media will tear people apart.”

Elisha Cuthbert from ‘The Girl Next Door’ to ‘One Big Happy’.

Former ‘Teenage Dream’ Elisha Cuthbert has grown into a chic, bonafide actress. This Canadian bombshell made her acting debut in 2004 starring in one of our fav chick flicks ‘The Girl Next Store’, becoming every high-school boys’ dream girl. Fast forward (almost a decade), and now she’s staring in the upcoming TV comedy series by Ellen Degeneres, ‘One Big Happy’.

We love this editorial for FASHION magazine – Photographed by Chris Nicholls. For the cover, Elisha rocks a baby blue jacket by Stella McCartney, Alexander Wang top, pants by Lanvin, paired with a Celine bracelet, H&M ear cuff and a Dean Davidson necklace | Styled by George Antonopoulos.

Screen Shot 2015-03-18 at 8.35.05 PM

Elisha looks flawless (seriously dem brows / makeup by Simone Otis) with slicked back, sleek hair by Justin German – she talks about her evolving style, “I can’t believe how fearless I was. Under the age of 25, I didn’t care what I wore. Now I sit in front of the mirror and think, “What lipstick should I wear?” I just have much more knowledge. It can make you insecure.”

Surprisingly, one of our fav films, is HER most ‘awkward film’ of her career lol – “The Girl Next Door took me so far out of my comfort zone. The provocativeness that I had to exude in that film was daring… especially at my age at that time. I was twenty and I barely knew who I was. It was weird. I looked very attractive and the clothes were bringing out this sexy side of me. It was challenging to have to get to a place where I was okay with what I was wearing—especially when I was literally in fishnets and a bra and underwear. It was really tough.

Screen Shot 2015-03-18 at 8.34.54 PM

We’re obsessed with this look — that BCBG Max Azria Veil is everything & all about those Alexander Wang overalls.

On her character Lizzy, in ‘One Big Happy’, based on lesbian comedy writer Liz Feldman:

“I felt I had to do this. Just look at what Ellen went through 18 years ago when she came out on her TV series. Could you imagine how hard that was for her and how groundbreaking that was? To think that nothing has come of it since then until us is insane.”

On Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi as role models:
They are a couple that all married people can look up to. They’re very supportive of one another and they have each other’s backs. When Ellen was busy doing her talk show and couldn’t be with us [on set One Big Happy], Portia stepped in. One could easily not care about the other’s endeavors, but Portia really did.

Ellen Degeneres said of the show during the 2015 Winter TCA Tour, “Yes, there’s a lesbian character, but it’s a really funny show and that’s all I wanted to do, put out really funny material that’s smart and thought-provoking. There’s so much to this show. So I don’t focus on that. I just look at it as a funny show.”

Kerry Washington gets ‘Scandalous’ for Marie Claire.

Actress / Model Kerry Washington stuns for the cover of Marie Claire’s April 2015 issue. Kerry stars in the number one (most addicting) TV Show out there: SCANDAL. I mean, even Rihanna is obsessed with Olivia Pop (as we are). Washington opens up to Marie Claire about her character Ms. Pope, Scandal, family, & growing up.

Screen Shot 2015-03-14 at 9.22.22 PM

Kerry looks gorgeous & puts her modeling skills to good use with this chic editorial | Photographed by Tesh.

The spokeswoman of beauty brand L’Oreal talks growing up & thinking she was not pretty (trust us, we were shocked too): “I didn’t grow up thinking I was pretty; there was always a prettier girl than me. So I learned to be smart and tried to be funny and develop the inside of me, because I felt like that’s what I had.”

On privacy: “Earlier in my career, I was much more super-sharey. There were moments when I wanted to process things that were happening to me more privately, and I didn’t have the space to do it, because once you let people in, they’re in and you don’t get to say, ‘Oh, I want this for myself.’”

Screen Shot 2015-03-14 at 9.22.31 PM

On family: “I just want [daughter Isabelle] to know that she’s heard. Really heard, because I feel like that is what we all really want. When I think about any of the missteps in my life that I’ve made, all of which I’m grateful for, it’s because I just so wanted to be truly seen and heard for who I am and was afraid I wasn’t or wouldn’t be. I see you, I hear you, I’m with you as you are.”

On working with Shonda Rhimes (the creator of Scandal): “I’m very respectful of Shonda’s vision of who Olivia [Pope] is, but she has said that she is informed by the choices I make. If we were waltzing, she’s definitely leading. And she picked the song, and she probably dressed us, but it is a waltz.”

Screen Shot 2015-03-14 at 9.22.13 PM

On Olivia Pope: “I don’t think I consciously say, ‘What would Olivia Pope do?’ but there’s a new thread of belief in my own capacity that I think comes from her. She makes it happen. She figures it out. She fixes it.

On fashion: “I just put myself in a boot camp of figuring it out—and realized that I really loved it. I guess because I came to it later in life, I realized, ‘Oh, going to a fashion show is like going to the opening of Degas at the Met or going to see Swan Lake.’”

Eva Mendes: A Model, Muse & Mother.

Eva Mendes is considered one of the most beautiful women in the industry. I mean seriously those Calvin Klein ads??The World swooned when Ryan Gosling & Eva became an item & as of recently she’s been out of the public eye since the birth of their baby girl, Esmeralda. Now Mendes is back & looking better than ever. The 41 year old babe covers Women’s Health Magazine photographed by Ben Watts — Eva talks motherhood, fitness, nutrition & more.

Screen Shot 2015-03-11 at 3.47.40 PM

We love the ‘all-white’ styling for the editorial spread — definitely some chic Spring fashion inspiration.

On baby Esmeralda: “I’m actually enjoying the sleepless nights because it’s bonding with my little girl…I don’t feel like I’ve really earned the right [to give motherly advice.] I want to respect all the moms out there. They’re going to be like, ‘You know what? You’re a few months in. Just shut up.”

Screen Shot 2015-03-11 at 3.49.26 PM

On her diet:“I haven’t eaten meat in about six years, because I don’t agree with factory farming here,” she says. “This is just what worked for me, it’s important to say, but when I cut that out I immediately felt better. And also, after a year of eliminating it, my skin looked brighter and healthier overall.”

Her Fitness Routine: “I realized a long time ago that I needed to have some kind of routine. I don’t love it, but I’ve made peace with that.” Her fitness routine features running & interval sprints.

On being photographed in public: “I believe there is a public self and a private self. My sisters and my good friends are experiencing that now [with] Facebook and Instagram. When they freak out about a friend of theirs posting a bad picture of them, I’m like, ‘Well, imagine how I feel! Get used to it!’”

On the importance of therapy: “Having [a therapist] who’s totally objective and who points out my patterns— I find that really helpful. And I’m lucky to work with someone who doesn’t just sit there and nod her head, you know? I need to hear what you think! Tell me what’s wrong with me so I can fix it!”

Recently she was spotted looking fab in a bright green D&G coat celebrating her 41st birthday with Ryan & co.

Rita Ora is a Tropical Goddess for InStyle UK.

Musician | Model | Muse Rita Ora is a tropical dream for InStyle UK’s April 2015 issue. From performing at the Oscars, her hit song ‘Black Widow’ with Iggy Azalea, to her Adidas Originals line, starring in DKNY’s campaign, being a coach on The Voice, & now her debut acting role in the box office hit Fifty Shades of Grey, this British beauty has proven she’s a triple threat! Although, it didn’t happen overnight – Ora dealt with lots of rejection but that didn’t stop this bad-a** babe.

Catch some highlights from her interview with InStyle.

On rejection: “I’ve been told ‘no’ so many times in my career. It doesn’t mean it’s over… I can remember every single ‘no’ I’ve been told in my life. They do not leave my brain. But they build you up.”

Screen Shot 2015-03-03 at 11.24.56 AM

On her Fifty Shades of Grey role as Mia Grey: “I heard about the audition and I approached Sam Taylor-Johnson with ideas for the soundtrack. I said I’d love to be involved as I was such a fan of the book. And then Sam said, ‘Well, why don’t you audition?’ And I said, ‘Sure…I’ve got a few song ideas, I could send them over…’ and she said, ‘No, why don’t you audition for the movie?’

Adding, “And I was like, ‘What?’ I’ve done a bit of acting, but honestly didn’t expect to be put into that role. I thought, what have I got to lose? I auditioned like everybody else – there were a lot of other people in the frame. I didn’t get any special treatment. I perfected my American accent, one thing led to another, and I got it.”

On becoming a coach on The Voice: “I said no straightaway. I love the show, but I wanted to focus on my second album. And then I spoke to Will [fellow judge Will.i.am], and he said ‘Listen, if you don’t do it, I won’t do it.’ It’s actually the best decision I’ve made. It’s so fun. I love it. I’m learning a lot about myself, being a coach. I’m starting to trust my instincts. When you’re sitting in that chair, you can’t ask what anyone thinks, you just have to do it.”

Bohemian Dream Zoë Kravitz for OCEAN DRiVE.

Spawn of bohemian beauty Lisa Bonet & rocker Lenny Kravitz — you’re bound to be cool as phuck. And that’s exactly what Zoe Kravitz is. From her roles in Divergent to her rad band LOLAWOLF which is a ‘unique mix of edgy, tribal rhythms and post-modern electro’ – girl is killing it.

Now, we’re obsessing over her ridiculously cool & chic editorial/interview with OCEAN DRiVE Magazine.

Screen Shot 2015-02-26 at 10.54.22 AM

Creation is in her DNA,“It’s always what I’ve done, before I even had a real understanding of how the rest of the world saw my parents. My dad was always really supportive. My mom always wanted to make sure that this is what I really wanted to do before being in the public eye myself. They knew that’s genuinely who I am—I don’t know what else I would do if I wasn’t creating.”

Screen Shot 2015-02-26 at 10.53.55 AM

Zoe talks about her ongoing role in Divergent & Insurgent, “[My character] Christina comes from the faction of Candor, which is all about honesty; I was really intrigued by that,” says Kravitz. “That’s why she’s kind of an open book—she’s feisty and she’s funny and she’s real—and those are the kind of people that I like to surround myself with, and I’m the same kind of person.”

Adding, that it was pretty cray being paired with such a talented cast, “It was one of those moments when you look around the room and think, Oh my god, I’m shooting a scene with Naomi Watts and Kate Winslet—that’s absolutely insane!”

She also talks her character Christina’s friendship with Tris (Shailene Woodley) & how that translates to real life, “sometimes you go too far, where you just put your foot in your mouth. I definitely struggle with that, so I identified with that part of her. I love the friendship between her and Tris. It’s so important to see females supporting each other, especially in films for younger people. My girlfriends have kept me sane over the years, so I think their friendship and their bond is really beautiful.”

Screen Shot 2015-02-26 at 10.54.03 AM

Zoe opens up about her super fly band Lolawolf, together with Jimmy Giannopoulos and James Levy, “It’s always been something I do in my spare time when I’m not working on a film; it makes me feel happy and creative, and I don’t like being idle.” They scored some major tours last year, as the opening act for Miley Cyrus and Lily Allen. “It was a big learning curve. We were used to playing really small venues, in front of people we know and love. Miley and Lily were both really supportive. Then there’s the truth of being an opening act: You’ve got to pay your dues. You’re not the band the audience came to see. It gives you thick skin, and you learn to perform even when the audience isn’t giving you that energy.”

Kravitz has been in the celeb world since birth seeing as she has some pretty famous parents, unfortunately they divorced when she was young, but amazingly she’s maintained a great relationship with Lisa & Lenny.  “It makes things so easy that my parents are still very close, they have so much love for each other,” she says. “My dad and my step-dad [actor Jason Mamoa] get along really well, and my dad loves and is close with my brother and sister. It’s really beautiful. As long as everyone can be in the same room together, and have love for each other, it’s totally healthy.”

Wondering if this bad-a** babe has any love interests? Girls too busy with her cray life: “I’m never in one place for more than a couple of weeks, and when I’m home, I just want to be home and do normal things—do the laundry and clean my house and have brunch with friends,” adding, “I don’t have much of a type; the most important thing to me in a relationship is that they can make me laugh and I can make them laugh. Laughing is just the deepest, sexiest thing.” Preach Zoe, Preach!

Margot Robbie for Vogue Australia.

Margot Robbie made waves in the industry with her stellar (and stunning) performance in Scorsese’s film, The Wolf of Wall Street. The Australian actress kicked-a** in her role & gained some serious cred when she told Leonardo DiCaprio to get ‘out of her light’ while filming. She said “I don’t think anyone has told him to get out of their light in quite some time. He seemed extremely [shocked], but it was kind of funny.”

35487-1_n

Now, the blonde beauty looks like an ethereal [chic] goddess for VOGUE Australia’s March 2015 issue // photographed by Alexi Lubomirski // styled by fashion director Christine Centenera. The 24 year old actress continues her unique reign over the movie industry & more.

She said of her breakout role, “Wolf (The Wolf of Wall Street) was so insane and doing it was such a crazy, amazing experience. But once I’d done it, or while I was doing it even, I didn’t see how I could possibly move things forward from that because that was just so incredible.”

Screen Shot 2015-02-11 at 8.20.17 PM

Robbie is in the upcoming box office hit, ‘Focus’ alongside Will Smith — but you have to hear her audition story while she was in Croatia. She says, “It was 6 in the morning. I’d been swimming, and I got the call saying, ‘Oh, yeah. You need to be doing an audition with Will Smith like tomorrow in New York. So your flight’s booked for tonight.’ And I was like, ‘Tonight? Oh, my God.’ I asked the lady at the hostel I was staying at, ‘Oh, how do I get off this island? I need to go to the mainland.’ And she was like, ‘Oh, there’s only one boat a day, and it leaves in 20 minutes.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my God’.”

“[I] grabbed all my stuff. Left half of it probably in the hostel … got to the airport. Waited eight hours, and then I went to France, and then I went to New York. And by the time I got to New York, I’d now not slept for, like, well over two days.”

Screen Shot 2015-02-11 at 8.34.02 PM

LOL! Well homegirl still nailed the audition, and she speaks highly of her costar, “Will is the loveliest person. I’d heard he was the nicest guy ever, so funny, so professional, and I thought: ‘He can’t be that great’, and then I got on set with him and I was like: ‘You are that great, I want you to be president of the world because you are amazing!’”
