Queen of selfies, reality star & entrepreneur, Kim Kardashian West was a guest-judge on the competition series Australia’s Next Top Model. Kim is truly a social media aficionado – she’s the 2nd most popular person on Instagram with 30million followers (Beyonce was N. 1). We all know how important the ‘art of selfies’ are, especially for models, it’s an incredible way to promote yourself.

“Social media is extremely important when you want to get your brand out there to the world and just express yourself,” Kim said in the clip. That’s why Z Management’s modeling APP M3 Beauty is a fab way to showcase your model shots by posting your Comp Card.

Mrs. West gave the girls on the show a challenge: send them out to style & shoot their OWN photos for the Kardashian Kollection clothing line. She was pretty fierce in giving some serious feedback, she said about one of the ‘selfies’; “Lucy looks great but there are cigarettes on the ground which is an instant turn-off,” while telling another competitor, “You need to think more about showing off the clothing and accessories.” There is definitely a ‘social media etqutette’ girls need to be aware of.

On Karl Lagerfeld calling her the “girl of the moment”: “I started this hoping that it would have longevity. I didn’t come into this thinking it’s going to be a fun thing that I’m going to do on the side. It’s something I want to do my whole life. It’s a career, so I needed to be really gentle with it. We had to pick and choose things very specifically.”

Now she’s basically BFFs with Karl (who also shot the cover & editorial of Harper’s): “I’m really shy when I first meet someone—and to meet him was even worse. He would say something to me and I would just nod. It was like meeting a crush or something—I was mute. He probably thought I was the biggest weirdo. And then every time we’d see each other, it would just get better and better. Now we’re totally BFFs.”

On being model besties with Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls, & Gigi Hadid: “Just through work. I think it’s super important. You have to be around these girls for work, for parties, for events, for shows, especially. It’s good to have a set of girlfriends that you can stand being around. You have to be around these people all the time!”

And, what’s ‘craycray Cara’ really like? “Amazingly crazy. We balance each other out. I chill her out and she makes me fun.”

The KUWTK star talks sister Kim’s style:  “I really admire Kim’s style. It’s insane. She really knows how to work her style with her body. I think she could be a major fashion icon. It’s so fun to be in Paris with her, but I’ll walk out and be like, ‘Oh, my God, I love my outfit,’ and then I’ll see Kim and I’ll be like, ‘My outfit sucks compared to yours!’”

The 28 year old creative director has turned the Paris Fashion house into a POWER house.

Rousteing’s unconventional ways are reigning the industry, especially due to the impact of celebs/supermodels/musicians. “When you look at the fashion brands, how many followers do they have? Balmain has 1.1 million. It’s like 10 per cent of what those girls have. It shows you the power of the personality more than the power of the entire brand.”

The Bourdeaux-born babe (for real those cheek bones…) talks to Telegraph.co.uk about design, his muses & more, he says, “Celebrity is more important today than it used to be. It gives access to so many different people. For me it’s the new high-street window. You can actually be part of the dream. It’s not only available to 10 people on the front row – it’s a way of communication that’s inclusive, and there’s something generous about that.”

On his main muse BadGalRiRi: “There’s no doubt about it. She has this aura, this charisma. It’s not only sexual. It’s something else. She is like a new Grace Kelly, or a Madonna… This woman of the world who represents a new world.” Adding,”No, if you mean, ‘Do I have someone in my life?’ No, I don’t. Just work and Rihanna.But that’s enough. That’s a lot!”

On women & fashion: “Fashion had started to forget women in a way, and concentrate too much on the clothes. For me it made no sense. In fashion the biggest moment was when the models were celebrities – we all remember Naomi, Claudia, Carla, Linda. The woman had to come back; the curved woman, and different kinds of body shapes. I don’t like skinny girls. I want to represent a real woman, not just a shadow or a ghost.”

On diversity on the runway: “The mixety [sic] of my castings is one of the most important things about the show,” Rousteing says. “Sometimes I feel like some designers just focus on the clothes. Obviously it’s a business, but when you do a show you want to be modern – it’s not only about trying to find the fabric that no one else uses. Being modern means having a view or a vision of what the world is today. I want to show a vision of my world, what I see and what I want to see in the future.”

On the founder of the French fashion house, Pierre Balmain: “I keep Pierre Balmain in my mind because he loved strong women, women who have something to say. All the French designers – Balmain, Poiret, Dior, Balenciaga – they believed in strong women. Their mothers were really important. In France fashion has always been connected to the role of the woman. I keep in my mind the rules of French fashion.”

The reality star // social media phenomenon spoke with VOGUE about her relationship, daughter North, & more.

On being in the public eye vs privacy:  “I like sharing my world with people. Although I wish there could be just maybe a little bit more privacy just for our daughter. But it is what it is. She is going to grow up to be a strong girl. I love my life. I feel like I’m in a really good place right now.”

Adding, “We’ll be at a party, and it might seem like the best party, and we’re whispering to each other: ‘Let’s just go home’, because we want some alone time.”

On Kanye: “He always has been such a good support throughout my life. I think we met 10 years ago and at different points we connected and got closer. We were always communicating, even if we were on different paths in our lives. We could always fill each other in on what was going on and always support each other. I think that created a good foundation for our relationship.”

On family life & North West: “We are absolute best friends; we know every last thing about each other. We know our goals are to make each other’s lives really happy, and I think we know how to do that. We have good communication, and I think that’s so important in a relationship, and we have so much fun together. We laugh together. We’re obsessed with our family. We love our daughter so much.”

North West is one of the cutest babies out there — so of course we’re wondering when the next Kimye spawn will be arriving lol. Kim tol The Daily Mail,  “It’s been more challenging to get pregnant the second time around. When you’re not planning it, it happens. It’s just how God works. And when you want it so bad, it’s not happening.”

Vogue’s editor-in-chief Edwina McCann spoke highly of Mrs. West. McCann describes her as “the defining element of fame in this era,”adding, “People think they can just abuse her and think she doesn’t have feelings. Yes, she’s famous for being famous but that’s the society we’ve created. She understands that’s the price of fame and she gets on with it.”

“Kim Kardashian is one of the most searched people on Google, with as many Instagram followers (23 million and counting) as there are Australians. She is polarising. She is regularly the victim of cyber bullying. She is a serious fashion fan. She is also awfully nice.”

She talks to the mag about relationships, her previous marriage to Lamar Odom, oh and buying Justin Bieber’s house!

On her previous marriage to Lamar: “By the time I hit that age I thought I would have kids and still be married. But because that’s not the way it went, you can’t sit in a ball and cry. I had a husband, so I think there’s an adjustment period, which I don’t want to rush. Dating is so weird. But I’m happy – I moved into my new house, which is the first time I’ve owned a home on my own. It’s a big step and my brother lives with me – I’m so happy about that.”

On working hard: “When I first got married some of my girlfriends said, ‘You never have to work now – you married a basketball player’. But I don’t care if you marry someone who works at the grocery store or someone who is a director of a company, everyone should have their own identity. It’s not about numbers.”

Love vs. Sex: “I don’t crave sex. I talked about it more openly when I was married because it’s more comfortable. I crave companionship – I just want to cuddle. I got married at 25 – I was young, but I loved it. I do like it when you save certain things for your marriage. I don’t think you should treat every guy you’re dating like your husband. It doesn’t make it special.”

About ‘beef’ with Justin Bieber: I bought Justin Bieber‘s house…He had like this nook under the stairs which I didn’t need so I covered it up. When I ran into him he was like ‘What did you do with the nook? I used to go in there and play video games.’ When I told him it was gone he was so upset, I didn’t think this 20-year-old boy would even care!”

Balmain’s ARMY of LOVE with #KIMYE

#ItsAllAboutLove according to BALMAIN’s latest high-fashion campaign. So, what better pair to feature in a ‘love’ themed ad than The World’s Most Talked about Couple: KIMYE.

Kim Kardashian & husband Kanye West get sultry for Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2015 ‘Army of Lovers’ ad. The hot couple – which has reached a level of phenomenon between them & the entire Kardashian Klan that no one quite understands… posed for renowned photographed Mario Sorrenti. Kim & Kanye have been huge ‘lovers’ of the chic brand for some time now. Kim Kardashian wore an elegant, bedazzled piece at her bachelorette party in Paris & joined supermodel sister, Kendall Jenner, in the ‘Balmain Army’  at the Vogue Paris Foundation Gala this last year.

Wonder if these shots will #BreakTheInternet like Kim did when she showed off her ‘ass-ets’ for Paper Magazine … probably not but just sayin’!

Olivier Rousteing, the creative director for the the French fashion house, said, “For this Menswear campaign, I wanted to capture a moment of love. Kim and Kanye are style icons and friends. It is an honor to have them in this Balmain campaign. Together, they represent love, beauty and diversity — they are the new modernity. This is more than a campaign, it expresses something beyond clothes — it is a celebration of love and friendship. This is a new statement for Balmain.”

In case you missed it, Kim & Kanye were married this past May at the exclusive Fort di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. They welcomed their adorable & utterly fashionable daughter, North West, the previous year, in June 2013. The Kardashian-West made their family debut in the April 2014 issue of VOGUE US photographed by Annie Leibovitz, where they were titled #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple.

Julia Roberts & Givenchy.

Julia Roberts is the newest face of fashion powerhouse: Givenchy. And while the decision may come as a surprise, after Riccardo Tisci let’s us in on his interesting choice, we couldn’t picture a better style icon to showcase the latest collection.

Creative director of Givenchy, Riccardo Tisci says of his decision, “Julia was my first choice for a few reasons; I think that she represents such a mature woman. With each campaign for Givenchy, I’m always trying to make a difference. A lot of people see Givenchy as only “haute couture,” or only “street and urban.” For me, Julia is many things. She has this strength as an actress, but she’s also this beautiful American woman.  She’s a big star, but she’s not a paparazzi or a blog monster. It’s going to be my tenth year at Givenchy in March, so I wanted to represent the woman who is more mature, beautiful, talented, but also unpretentious.

For the new campaign Roberts wears ‘classic Givenchy’ —the ones that [Tisci is] famous for.” He elaborates, “Julia is wearing a tuxedo, which is basically my iconic piece; this is what women know and buy Givenchy for. She also wears this black and white chemise dress, which is another iconic look.”

Tisci told WWD about the runway show & choosing the ‘Pretty Woman’ star, “The mood of the show was about this very powerful woman, and Julia represents this very much. She represents the couture part. It’s important to show your iconic work. I want to build what is the real classic wardrobe.”

Adding, “I decided to make her more intellectual, more serious, more pure,” he said. “It’s a different, fresh, new way to see Julia — really cool and urban, I think.”

Julia is beyond an accomplished actress, model (she’s the face of Lancôme La Vie Est Belle as well), & more – interestingly enough, she’s maintained quite a low profile in the social media world – unlike Givenchy’s other huge advocates (ahem Kim Kardashian, Kanye West & Kendall Jenner).

“She’s not really out there: red carpet, parties, Facebook and Instagram,” Tisci said, “she really represents my woman. She’s got a really strong sense of fun and is very open.”

Julia chatted with Yahoo & the thought of being chosen to represent the iconic brand.

She says of the shots,  “Well, it’s impossible for me to be totally objective and not make four or seven jokes right now. I wish I looked like that! If you could see me right now, you’d be laughing so hard. I think they’re very cool images and I think all the clothes would have been things I would have chosen for myself.”

Roberts also adds that she was a bit surprised, “My sister and I were actually just on the phone, and we were laughing so hard. She goes, “How are you suddenly turned into a supermodel? You’re almost 50.” It’s funny.”

Riccardo Tisci & Julia Roberts have mutual adoration for one another, she says, “he’s so sweet. He’s in an industry that I find very intimidating and elusive—just like the good-looking girl in high school. The whole fashion industry is that to me. And then you meet these people who are so kind, love what they do, and are very interested in the personal aspects of it. You know, the way you look, it’s so personal. Riccardo put me very much at ease. And Mert and Marcus are just the most fun people to spend a day with.”

And of her, Tisci said, “She’s incredible as a woman,” he said. “I love her so much: She’s funny, ironic, intelligent, cultured — everything.”

Well, from one icon to another, right?

The phenomenon of KIM KARDASHIAN can at times be … well baffling to say the least … No one can deny her controversial, impact on todays pop culture. Kim K is probably one of the, if not the MOST, famous person in the world… for WHAT exactly we don’t necessarily know, but with over 20 million followers on Instagram alone, homegirls’ empire isn’t ending anytime soon.

She literally just #BrokeTheInternet by covering Paper Magazine nude & showing off her infamous ‘ass-ets’ but now she covers ELLE UK’s Confidence issue where she opens up about not always being so proud of her killer curves. Photographed by Jean Baptiste Mondino, Kim wears designer pieces by Balmain, Louis Vuitton, Burberry & Balenciaga. And, as always true to form, it’s smokin’.

On her body-image: 

“It’s taken me a long time to be happy with my body and for my confidence to grow to what it is today,” she admits. “I grew up when the body to have was the tall, slim, supermodel one, like Cindy Crawford’s. No one looked like me. It’s good to break the mould and recreate one.

“I’m an Armenian girl, I have shape, and it turned out people liked that. That makes me feel good about myself and about other women for being so supportive. I am a confident woman, but I didn’t just arrive confident – it has built over the years and that is a big part of who I am now.”

Interestingly enough, her father boosted up her confidence through a letter,

“When I was 13 my father wrote me a letter. I was unhappy with my body – I developed really early. Every night I would sit in the bath and cry, I prayed my boobs would stop growing. He told me I had a body not many girls have, that later it would lead to attention from men, but that the most important thing was that I was a wonderful girl and I had to understand my self worth.”

On her nude photos being linked: “I feel violated because these are private pictures. I didn’t choose for them to be out there. But I’m also realistic. I’m on covers of magazines practically naked, so I can’t go crazy about it. The only choice I can make is to not let it shake me up. I’m not having that choice taken away from me.”

On supermodel sister Kendall Jenner: “I think she will be a huge star. I definitely think she will be bigger than I have ever been.”

Kim was originally told she couldn’t have kids: “A few years ago I was told I could never get pregnant. Three different doctors told me the same thing, which is why I wanted to have my eggs frozen. I was just about to do that when I found out I was pregnant with North.”

Will North West be having an siblings in the near future?? “I want a boy and another girl; I want it to start happening straight away. I loved being part of a huge family – and I want that for North. We’d do IVF if nothing happens, but we both want to keep trying naturally.”

Well you gotta give it Kim, she’s always be ‘real’ with her fans & opinions – this just in: her wedding photo to husband Kanye West received the most ‘Instagram-likes’ of 2014.

Keeping Up With Kylie.

Move over Kendall – Kylie Jenner is getting her model on now too. Kendall may have reigned the runways at New York Fashion Week, but little sister Kylie isn’t far behind when it comes to getting her modeling poses down.

She recently posed for Birdie.com and while Kendall may be known for her cat-walking skills, everyone seems to always go to Kylie for her killer makeup & styling.

The beauty website, Birdie.com, features Kylie in their latest editorial wearing 60s inspired pieces & makeup – Sage Maitri nailed that cat eye for the youngest Jenner/Kardashian – while hair stylist Christian Marc kept that 60s mod vibe going. Photographed by Justin Colt.

A few HER beauty tips, well one comes from her older [Kardashian] sisters, “Always apply sunscreen to your face and hands every day. Also, no matter what, washing my face every night before bed.”

And need help snapping a selfie on the spot? “It’s all about good lighting, usually by a window with diffused light, and finding your best angles. You can always erase so just take a bunch.”

Kylie also recently did an editorial with Miss Vogue Magazine where she opens up about sisters, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and of course Kim.

She told the magazine, “[Kendall and I] balance each other out, she’s super shy and I’m super outgoing, [Khloe] helped raise us and was often the one to discipline us. [Kim and I] butt heads…but in a sisterly manner. We like to succeed as a group, so we are never really jealous. We don’t want each other to fail.”

Kendall Jenner – who’s reached official supermodel status from her modeling stints ranging from Vogue to walking in Paris Fashion Week & starring in Givenchy’s upcoming Fall campaign – continues to rock her modelesque poses, this time with her younger sis (and momager) for Du Jour’s newest issue.

Styled by Anne Christensen, the Jenner girls let their inner-coowgirl’s out. The all-american theme coincides with Kendall’s editorial for LOVE MAGAZINE’s F/W issue where she’s one of the cover girls titled ‘All-American Girl’.

The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan opened to the mag about their life in front of the cameras andKendall even confessed that Kylie is really messy.

“She’s really dirty. She’s the messiest person ever and does not care. Literally she’ll sleep at my house for one night and I’ll go into the guestroom and it’ll be trashed,” she shared.

Kylie and Kendall are also pictured below headed to separate lunches with friends in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (August 22).

“I don’t think we really remember a time before the cameras,” says Kylie, 17. Her sister adds, “Even before the show, when we were babies—four or five years old—we’d be walking red carpets with our dad [Olympian Bruce Jenner].”

When asked if they have plans to  go to college – it seems as though neither of them are really giving it much thought … but we hope they do someday! 

Kendall: I’m not really thinking about it. I don’t know what’s going to happen. We’re keeping our options open. I just graduated from high school, but I don’t know. We’ll see what happens.

Kylie: I don’t know either. I don’t see it in the near future, but like Kendall said, we’re keeping our options open.

Kendall, what’s the craziest thing you ever read about Kylie on the Internet?

Kendall: That her whole face is plastic surgery. She’s 16, guys! She does not have plastic surgery all over her face.

Kylie, what’s the craziest thing you ever read about Kendall on the Internet?

Kylie: Probably just the party rumors, right? You don’t party.

Kendall: I’m the biggest loser. The [tabloids] say that we’re both [partiers] and that we’re crazy. We’re the easiest targets.
