Jessica Alba Gets Honest about BEAUTY.

“Growing up, whenever I was bullied, my mom would say, ‘You’re a beautiful girl. They’re just jealous‘.” Jessica Alba was always told she was beautiful, and that she is, but she’s so much more & that’s exactly what she instills on her daughters, 6-year-old Honor & 3-year-old Haven. Alba gets honest for Natural Health Magazine’s 2015 issue on what beauty means to her. She says, “It never helped. I want my girls to know that beauty is being kind…beauty is helping people…beauty is humility.

The 33 year old successful actress, dancer, model & entrepreneur of The Honest Company has a point- and we love the outlook of beauty & beyond.

She cofounded HONEST with Christopher Gavigan, Sean Kane and Brian Leeis, it’s worth nearly $1 Billion – she hopes her #GIRLBOSS will pass down to her daughters, “I really am building The Honest Company for them. I’m really hoping that…The Honest Company is some place that they would like to work later, when they’re older.”

Although, if they choose a different path that’s cool too, she says in the Jan/Feb 2015 issue of the mag, “If not, I hope they’re inspired to be entrepreneurs. And to really push the envelope on you know what they can do with their life and how they can make an impact.”

“Acting is a priority, but when you’re building a company like this, you can’t just check out. This is life-changing stuff. This is legacy.”

Jessica also kills it in the fitness world – her rockin’ bod’ is courtesy of yoga, SoulCycle & Flywheel, she added, “I like doing the competitive thing.”
